About me

Welcome! I’m Jessie. I am so glad you are here.

I am a lawyer by education, a communicator by calling and a peacemaker by purpose. I create spaces for authentic conversations about justice, empathy, and empowered leadership. I believe that each person has the capability to create positive change in their community: they just need to say yes to that first small step!

There is a stirring. There is movement and change. Do you feel it? I feel it. I feel it in my interactions with others. I feel it in our conversations. I feel it in my heart. There is a growing uneasiness with what is and what is not yet.

I am on a journey to act on this stirring: to love more fully and more sacrificially. My beliefs have called me into spaces of growth and lament. My faith has called me into spaces of advocacy and humility. As I travel on this journey, I find that I am not alone. There are many of us waking up to find that we can no longer pretend that it is others’ work to speak out for justice and empathy. We can no longer bury our heads thinking that we do not need to “do the work” and love those marginalized or silenced. Our hearts are stirred as we raise our heads and activate our hands towards the work of radical love. But now, we ask the question – how do we move what we know in our heads and in our hearts to our hands - so that we can move and act together?

Let’s uncover these answers together. I am excited to be on this journey with you to uncover our call – to move, act, and together love our neighbors. I am so glad you are here. Now, let’s get to work!
